Q. How do I use an AVERAGE formula in Microsoft Excel?

To use AVERAGE to add up all numbers in a range, click on the cell that you want the sum in, and type =AVERAGE(firstcell:lastcell)  [Replace ‘firstcell’ with the first cell in the range you want to calculate and ‘lastcell’ with the last cell in the range you want to calculate.] This will add up all of the values in those cells and divide by the number of cells.
