How do I use the library search (multi-database search)?

Answer

The search box on the library homepage is fairly simple to use. For best results, try to simplify your search into some basic keywords that represent the key pieces of information you are looking for. Type those keywords into the search box and then search away!

Within the search results, you will have options on the left. These are filters that you can select to reduce your results and get at more specific results you may be looking for. You can limit to only eBooks, only journal articles, only newspaper articles, to specific subject areas, and even by publication date!

You can also email yourself some results. You can click on a checkbox to the left of an item and click on the email icon at the top-right to send yourself a link back to it. Clicking on the title of an item in the results will give you more information about it and let you access the item.
