| Webstore Registration 1. Open your Virtual Campus email 2. Locate the email sent to you with the subject line "Software Product Download Information" 3. Click the link inside the email stating "To register, click the following link" 4. Fill out all boxes containing a red * on the account registration page. Note: Make sure to keep a record of the password you choose. 5. Click "Register" Ordering the software 1. Select SPSS and click the "Add to Cart" button to purchase the software on disk or download the software for free (must be one or the other, not both). 2. Click "Check Out" located in the bottom right hand corner 3. Click "I Accept" to accept the terms and proceed to next page 4. Click "Continue" 5. Scroll to the bottom of the page where you are prompted to enter your username and signature 6. In the Username box, enter your school email address exactly as it appears below the username box. 7. In the Signature box, enter your name exactly as it appears below the signature box. Note: This is case sensitive. 8. Click "I Accept" 9. Click "Proceed with order" 10. Write down the Product Key listed in red 11. Click "Start Download" 12. Click "Download SDM" button in Step 1 13. Choose "Run" once prompted. 14. In the Setup Wizard, click the "Next" button 15. On the License agreement page, click "I accept" after reading the terms 16. Continue to click the "Next" button until you are prompted to click "Close" 17. Click "Close" 18. Click "Download SDX" in step 2 19. Click "Open" 20. Click "Start" next to SPSS to start the download process. 21. When the download completes click launch and follow all the prompts to complete the installation. (Make sure to allow all changes to computer if prompted.) Downloading the software from the webstore if there's an existing account and order: 1. Go to the On the Hub website 2. Sign in using your school email address and password (Use forgot password link if you do not know your password) 3. In the upper right corner click on the Your Account/Orders link 4. While in your account area scroll down to Order History 5. Select View Details next to your SPSS order 6. On the order page you will see your product key listed in red. Please write that down. Then click on Start Download. 7. Click "Download SDM" button in Step 1 8. Choose "Run" once prompted. 9. In the Setup Wizard, click the "Next" button 10. On the License agreement page, click "I accept" after reading the terms 11. Continue to click the "Next" button until you are prompted to click "Close" 12. Click "Close" 13. Click "Download SDX" in step 2 14. Click "Open" 15. Click "Start" next to SPSS to start the download process. 16. For Mac OSX: 1) Double click the .dmg file for SPSS Statistics installer downloaded from the webstore. 2) Wait while your files are extracted. 3) Enter you administrative ID (username and password) and click OK to allow IBM SPSS Statistics to make changes to your system. 4) Select your preferred language from the drop-down list and click OK. 5) Read the license information presented in the Introduction screen, and then click Next. 6) Select Authorized user license and click Next 7) Read the terms of the Software License Agreement, then select I accept the terms in the license agreement and click Next. 9) Enter your customer information in the User Name and Organization fields if you wish, and then click Next 10) Choose whether or not you wish to install Essentials for Python. 11) Read the terms of the License Agreement, then select I accept the terms of the License Agreement and click Next. 12) Click Next to install SPSS Statistics to the default location on your computer. 13) Click Install to begin the installation process. For Windows: 1) Double click the .exe file for SPSS Statistics installer downloaded from the webstore. 2) Wait while the files are extracted and the InstallShield Wizard is prepared. 3) Read the licensing information presented and click Next. 4) Select Authorized user license (I purchased a single copy of the product) and click Next. 5) Read the terms of the Software License Agreement, then select I accept the terms of the license agreement and click Next. 6) Enter you customer information in the User Name and Organization fields if you wish, and then click Next. 7) Select any additional languages in which you would like the product's Help content to be viewable and click Next. 8) Choose whether or not you wish to install JAWS for Windows screen-reading software and click Next. 9) Choose whether or not you wish to install Essentials for Python. 10) Read the terms of the License Agreement, then select I accept the terms of the License Agreement and click Next. 11) Click Next to install SPSS Statistics to the default location on your computer. (C:\Programs Files\IBM\Statistics\<SPSSversion>) 12) Click Install to begin the installation process. |
