How can I access my email on my mobile device / phone?

To view your campus email without having to log into the potal, you can configure your mobile device using the steps below. Note: This can only be done on devices with either the Android or iOS operating systems.

For Android
• Tap Settings.
• Under Accounts, tap “Add Account”
• Select “Exchange” or “Corporate”.
• Enter your complete campus email address and Virtual Campus password.
• If auto-configuration fails, re-enter the following:
Username: <Complete campus email address>
Password: <Virtual Campus password>
Server: outlook.office365.com
• Tap Next. If prompted for Remote Security Administration. Tap OK.
Note: The Remote Security Administration is security feature that allows the user to manage (e.g. device wipe, deactivate and etc.) the email account from a remote location (i.e via outlook.office365.com)
• Tap “Activate”.
• If prompted about “Smart Push”, tap OK.
• On this page, you will be prompted to setup mobile device “Push Email” feature. Tap Next.
• This is the last page of the email setup, you will have the option to customize the mailbox name appearing on mobile’s default email app. Tap Next.
• To confirm if email setup is successful, try sending a test email.

For iOS (version 11.0 and above)
• On the home screen, tap Settings.
• Slide down the Settings page and tap “Passwords & Accounts”
• Under Accounts, click on Add Account and select Exchange
• Fill out the required fields (Email address & Description). Tap Next.
• If prompted to Sign in to your Exchange account using Microsoft select Configure Manually then enter your Virtual Campus password. Tap Next.
• Select the Apps to sync with the email. Tap “Save”.
• To confirm if email setup is successful, try sending a test email.
