How can I view eBooks offline?

Some eBooks cannot be downloaded and/or accessed offline. When looking at library electronic books, whether or not they can be downloaded and viewed offline, and for how long they can be accessed, will change based on the vendor and eBook.  

For VitalSource type ebooks (Type: Ebook - VitalSource)
1. Go to www.vitalsource.com/download, download and install Bookshelf for your computer or mobile device.
2. Sign in with your campus email address and password.
3. Once signed-in, download any of your ebooks to your device for offline use.

For BVD type ebooks (Type: Ebook - BVD)
1. Download and install the BvD Reader app (iOS, Android and Windows 8.1/10) to read e-books without internet connection.
2. Launch the PUBlizard(BvD) Reader app.
3. In the BvD Reader Bookshelf page, tap the 3 dots icon and tick the “Make available offline” checkbox on the desired e-book. For Windows, click the floppy disk drive icon to download the material.
4. The e-book will begin to download at the background.Download speed will vary depending on the size of the book ad internet bandwidth.
5. Once completed, the book will display “Available locally” or "Available offline" (Windows App) and can be read when the device without a connection.
