Hello,

Thank you for reaching out. I'm happy to help. With covid being a relatively newer research topic, it will be a bit more difficult to find published, scholarly work on it. Academic journal articles often take a year or so to get published. However, with that in mind, I'm sure we can find some things!

First, I would log into the AIU Virtual Campus website, then click on Library in the top navigation bar (shown below). Then I would start searching in the Search Articles and eBooks box (shown below). This box will search most of our collections at once and is a good starting place for many topics.

Given that it sounds like you want to research both covid vaccines and covid containment, I'm suggesting you begin by trying two separate searches. In each of these searches, you'll want to type in only a few search keywords that represent the subject of your search. The library collections don't work as well if you provide too many search terms.

Search 1: Covid vaccines

You may also want to modify this search to focus in specific areas, such as searching: covid vaccine hesitancy, if you wanted to find articles about why people are reluctant to take the vaccine.

Search 2: Researching things on the containment and prevention of covid may be challenging. You may have to try a few different searches. I'm including some suggested keywords to try below:

  • covid mitigation plan
  • covid prevention
  • covid plan

I hope this helps. If you have any other questions, please let us know!
