If you are looking for general court procedures, you can look for books in the library that go over this. It is possible that your course textbooks/readings also cover this topic or that your instructor may even have recommendations for other titles that can help. An important part of finding information in the library is choosing careful keywords that reflect the subject of what you are searching for. This guide can help you choose keywords for effective searching. For this particular topic, I would recommend using: united states court procedure

If you are looking for court procedures for a specific type of case or crime, then that could offer additional keywords to add to that search. But you want to be careful not to add too many. 1-2 more keywords is often enough to focus on a specific subject.

On the library website, you can scroll down to the Search Individual Databases list and click on the subject drop-down menu shown below to choose books, which will limit the available collections to only those with books.

I would suggest starting with the Ebook Central (ProQuest) database link. This will allow you to search the electronic books specifically within that collection. Of course, if you have trouble finding anything there, you can always go back and open another eBook collection from the list; but I believe Ebook Central will have titles related to your topic.
