ReciteWorks.com is a website that will verify the APA citations and references in a document. It compares in-text citations and references to ensure there are no discrepancies and will review references for formatting errors. Because ReciteWorks requires payment, CTU no longer recommends its use. If you choose to use ReciteWorks, the subscription fee is your responsibility.
CTU offers a few services that may be useful instead.
Draft Coach is an add-in in Microsoft Office 365 that can compare in-text citations to references for discrepancies.
The free online tutoring service can assist with a review of references for APA formatting. Either submit your paper for review and request they focus on the references or work with a tutor (24 hours a day) to look at them together.
